Belize’s fuel prices are regulated by the Government of Belize. The Ministry of Finance previously published detailed pump price breakdowns, but discontinued publication of the full composition breakdown in September 2023. The Ministry resumed publication of fuel pump price information on its website as of May 2026.
This dashboard complements those official publications by bringing together monthly average pump prices for premium gasoline, regular gasoline, diesel, and kerosene. It provides a longer-term comparative view of fuel pricing trends over time.
What does the dashboard show?
The dashboard includes five views:
- Pump prices in Belize dollars per gallon
- Global crude oil benchmarks (WTI and Brent) in Belize dollars per barrel
- A percentage change comparison that places fuel and crude on a common scale
- A composition breakdown showing landed cost, commercial margin, and government taxes over time
- A per-mile fuel cost calculator based on vehicle fuel efficiency (mpg) and distance travelled
